We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join our successful family-owned business at our Bayswater warehouse. This is a casual position offering the flexibility of 15–20 hours per week, across 2–3 days. You'll work alongside our experienced team to assist with the assembly, testing, maintenance, and general operation of equipment.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the assembly and maintenance of equipment
Support senior technicians with day-to-day workshop activities
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Operate machinery to test performance and functionality
Follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling machinery and equipment
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
About you
Full working rights in Australia
Physically fit and capable of safely lifting up to 25 kg
Mechanical experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
Previous experience in a workshop environment is preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Efficient and organised, with excellent attention to detail
Reliable team player with a proactive, positive, and can-do attitude
Safety equipment, training, and support are provided
