We are looking for a Host – Food & Beverage to join the team at Hyatt House South Melbourne. We are a small team doing big things, and every person plays an important role. This is a outstanding entry-level role for someone looking to build a career in hospitality, with future opportunities to cross-train in other departments.

The role is primarily focused on Food & Beverage service, with an emphasis on warm, personal guest interactions and creating a smooth dining experience. The role will also include some Front Office duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs where required, helping provide a seamless experience across the hotel.

Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and drinks

Open, set up, and close the outlet

Know the menu and ingredients well

Keep work areas clean and organised throughout service

Support guest check-ins, check-outs and basic Front Office enquiries where required





Support your teammates and communicate clearly

Your background:

Previous Food & Beverage experience in a hotel or fast-paced environment

A current

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)

certificate

A genuine interest in hospitality and guest service

Strong communication and time management skills

Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly

Availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Right to work in Australia
