Transcend Managed Services - Bayswater VIC

Transcend Workforce is seeking two Production Operators with a current forklift licence to join a leading manufacturer of conveyor belts for the mining industry.

This is a long-term career chance, with the potential to transition to permanent employment for the right candidates. Extensive training will be provided, with opportunities to progress to higher pay levels as training and competency requirements are completed.

Monday to Friday | $35.12 | Bayswater | 6:00am - 2:00pm

All meal breaks are paid and OT penalties and applicable allowances apply.

Positions are available across the Mixing and Forming/Sheeting departments.

Key duties include:

Weighing and preparing rubber, oils and other materials

Loading materials into industrial mixers

Operating mixing mills and hydraulic production machinery

Feeding rubber,



fabric and steel-cord materials into machines

Measuring, cutting and preparing conveyor-belt materials

Monitoring machinery and completing quality checks

Recording production information

Moving materials using a forklift

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

This is a physically demanding position involving repetitive lifting, pulling, cutting and manual handling.

About You

Current forklift licence

Previous manufacturing or production experience

Physically fit and comfortable with strenuous manual tasks

Reliable with a strong work ethic

Full Australian working rights

Previous experience in rubber, plastics, extrusion, mixing, batching or heavy manufacturing will be highly regarded.
