We are looking for a
Full-Time Medical Receptionist
to join our team at our
Torquay clinic .

Your training will take place in Melbourne, with your accommodation and training expenses paid for by us.
Once training is complete, you will transition into your role at our
Torquay clinic , where you will be supported by an experienced team.
About the role As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important part of our patients' experience from the moment they contact us.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner
Answering a high volume of incoming phone calls
Booking and managing patient appointments
Processing patient registrations and Medicare details
Managing referrals and ensuring patient information is accurate
Liaising with doctors, patients and radiologists
Using medical and booking software systems
Managing payments and general administration
Working as part of a busy and supportive reception team
Providing a high level of customer service at every interaction
What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and committed
Warm, friendly and confident when speaking with patients
Comfortable answering phones and handling a busy workload
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
A strong communicator
Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Professional and well presented
Confident using computers and learning new systems
Someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care
Previous medical reception or radiology experience is highly regarded, but is not essential. The right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
Important Due to the location of our Torquay clinic, a reliable car and current driver's licence are essential.
