About the role We’re looking for a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join our lovely team at Myhealth Forest Lake on a casual basis. Ideally we are looking for someone to work across Tuesdays and Saturdays with the potential for more in the future.

As the Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming patients at the front desk, keeping things running smoothly! If you enjoy a team that’s welcoming and supportive, this could be the perfect role for you.

Day in the Life

Day-to-day reception duties

Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)

Overseeing appointments and bookings

Managing waitlist management, booking in recent clients and rescheduling appointment

Assisting with patient and doctor queries

Utilising appropriate item numbers for appointments

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience in practice/healthcare settings (desirable)

Best Practice experience preferred

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS,



and Private Health Insurance billings preferred

Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow

A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
