Associate Director Business Services Tax

Boutique 2 partner accounting firm with a team of 12 staff and a robust reputation in the SME market.

A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Manager/ Associate to step into a leadership role with a clear pathway to equity partnership within 2-3 years as part of a succession plan.

THE ROLE

n

You will work with both directors to manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients while leading a team of accountants and bookkeepers.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

- Managing client relationships
n
- Reviewing compliance and advisory work
n
- Tax planning and business structuring advice
n
- Managing workflow and team performance
n
- Working with in-house financial planning team
n

n

You will also play a key role in the future growth and direction of the firm.

YOU

- CA or CPA qualified
n
- 6+ years' Australian public practice experience
n
- Strong business services and tax background
n
- Experience managing workflow and reviewing staff work
n
- Exposure to SME groups, multi-entity structures and SMSFs
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills
n
- Experience with Xero, XPM, and Class is highly regarded.
