About the role

Orbit Fitness is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Gnangara, WA 6077. This is a strategic position that will oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. As Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring productive storage, distribution and movement of fitness equipment and related products. You will be responsible for optimising warehouse processes, maintaining safety standards, and driving operational excellence across the facility.

Key responsibilities

n

Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of inventory.

n

Manage and supervise warehouse and delivery and installation team members. including scheduling, training, performance management and development.

n

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.

n

Optimise warehouse layouts and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

n

Monitor and maintain health and safety standards in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.

n

Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

n

Manage warehouse equipment and machinery, including maintenance schedules and repairs.

n

Liaise with sales, customer service and other departments to support business objectives.

n

Prepare and analyse warehouse performance reports and key performance indicators.

n

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience of at least 2-5 years in a warehouse management or similar logistics operations role.

n

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.

n

Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff management within a warehouse environment.

n

Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to warehousing operations.

n

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

n

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification would be advantageous.

n

Experience in the fitness, retail or distribution sectors is desirable but not essential.

n

Current or willing to obtain a police clearance.

n

Current Drivers License.
