About the role:

n

Reporting to the Principal Property Officer, you will be responsible for administering the construction, modification, major renovations and/or repairs and maintenance of customer properties (including the management of external consultants). You may also be required to provide guidance and support to co-workers.

n

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and monitor construction projects from the office, ensuring alignment with project plans and objectives.
n
- Track project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
n
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
n




- Manage external service providers to meet the needs of our customers, having regard to their disabilities.
n
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for project updates.
n
- Support procurement and contract administration processes.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
n
- Experience in construction and understanding/interpreting to provide advice on residential building plans and specifications.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Systems savvy
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced office environment.
n
- Ability to maintain sensitivity, discretion and a professional manner in handling difficult enquiries and issues
n
- Experience working on government or public infrastructure projects
n
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
n
- Builders Licence is preferred.
