RM - Lismore Base - Maternity & Women's Care

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Maternity and Women's Care team on a four-week contract basis. This is an excellent chance to contribute to quality care in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. The role runs from 28 September to 25 October 2026, offering focused clinical experience across maternity and women's health services in a supportive hospital environment.

- Work across maternity and women's care services in a regional hospital setting

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience in maternity and women's care practice
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting
- Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills in maternal and women's health contexts
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across varying clinical demands within the service

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current professional indemnity insurance or eligibility to obtain it
- Completion of relevant professional development in maternal and women's health within the past three years
