Are you a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter looking for your next long-term opportunity?

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join an established and growing manufacturing business based in Geebung.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and keeping production running smoothly.

THE ROLE

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, plant and equipment and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults

- Troubleshooting production machinery and equipment

- Servicing and maintaining plant and manufacturing equipment

- Responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes





- Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades and modifications

- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

- Working closely with production to minimise downtime

- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving mechanical problems.

You will ideally have:

- Trade Qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or relevant mechanical trade

- Previous experience in manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance

- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

- Experience working with production machinery

- High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)

- Experience with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)

- Strong safety awareness

- Good communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

HIGHLY REGARDED

- Restricted Electrical Licence

- Experience with automation and control systems

- Permit to Work experience
