We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing medical group in a leadership role across Drouin Family Medical Centre and Morwell Medical Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate general practice nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career, or an experienced Nurse Supervisor looking for a rewarding leadership position. You will play a key role in coordinating our nursing teams, supporting clinical excellence, improving patient care and maintaining high standards of quality and safety across both practices.

Key responsibilities

- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff across both medical centres
n
- Coordinate daily nursing activities and ensure efficient clinical workflows
n
- Support the recruitment, orientation, training and professional development of nursing staff
n
- Work collaboratively with GPs, practice managers and administration teams to improve patient care and operational efficiency
n
- Lead and coordinate quality improvement activities across both practices
n
- Oversee infection prevention and control, sterilisation procedures and clinical safety standards
n
- Coordinate vaccine management and cold-chain compliance
n
- Support RACGP accreditation preparation and ongoing compliance with relevant clinical standards
n
- Provide general practice nursing services, including immunisations, wound management, chronic disease management and health assessments
n




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote evidence-based nursing practice
n

About you

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory or nursing coordination experience, or the ability to progress into a leadership role
n
- Sound knowledge of RACGP accreditation standards, infection control, immunisation and vaccine management
n
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
n
- The ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-focused approach
n
- A genuine interest in quality improvement, clinical governance and developing nursing services
n
- Previous experience as a Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor or Senior Practice Nurse will be highly regarded
n
