Merak Gourmet Foods Pty Ltd – Redland Bay QLD

This is a dynamic front-of-house and floor role with active barista capability at a busy boutique café in Redland Bay. You will work across customer service and POS, floor operations, daily routines, and barista support, stepping up to the espresso machine during peak rushes and taking on dedicated coffee shifts as you master our standards and workflow.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests, taking orders, and managing counter service
- Table service, running food and drinks, clearing, wiping, and resetting tables
- Daily checklists, restocking, dish station rotation, opening, and closing duties
- Stepping up to the espresso machine during peak rushes and taking on dedicated coffee shifts
- Working across the whole café in an active all-rounder workplace

About you

Available to work across the following shifts on an ongoing basis:Wednesday day shift, Thursday day shift, Friday day + evening (finish by approx. 8:30 pm), Saturday evening (finish by approx. 8:30 pm)





- Confident commercial barista capability (milk texturing, shot timing, cleanliness, and workflow)
- Positive, proactive mindset—you instinctively see what needs doing next across the floor without waiting to be asked
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Own reliable private transport to Redland Bay (4165) for evening finishes
- Consistent hours: 25+ set hours every week on regular days (Wed to Fri day shift & Fri + Sat nites till 8.30pm)
- No late nights: Out by 8:30 pm on evening shifts
