What we’re looking for
Hurstville Private’s Maternity Services has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, experienced Neonatal Special Care Nursery (SCN) Registered Midwives/Nurses to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Working in our modern, well-equipped unit, you will deliver excellent family centered care.
Our 10 cot SCN unit provides specialised care to babies from 32-week gestation, and supports our Delivery Suites, Postnatal Unit and surrounding tertiary facilities.
Essential Criteria
- Current Registration with APHRA as a Registered Midwife / Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or Special Care Nursery
- Demonstrated high level of competence with a proven ability to operate confidently in a Special Care Nursery
- Demonstrated team-oriented and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient centred care
- Well-developed time management skills with a high degree of initiative
Desirable Criteria
- Post Graduate certificate in neonatal nursing or working towards
