Based in Brisbane with regular travel to Cairns (min once a month), you'll work closely with operational and commercial leaders to provide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision making. Reporting to the Group Head of Finance and partnering closely with the TNQ COO and senior leadership team, this role offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional finance and become a trusted advisor to the business. This is a highly visible role where you'll use data, insight and commercial thinking to influence decisions, improve performance and help shape the future direction of tourism operations.

Key responsibilities

- Partner with business leaders to support commercial and operational decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Deliver insightful management reporting and performance analysis
- Build business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance




- Provide recommendations on investment and capital expenditure decisions
- Support cashflow planning and financial governance
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and processes

About you

- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Manager
- Robust budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting and analysis
- Ability to translate financial information into practical business insight
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset
