Room Leader

to join our team in the Banksia Room, working with children aged 2-3 years.

About the Role As a Room Leader, you will play an important role in leading your room and creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.

You will be responsible for:

Leading and supporting a team of educators within the Banksia Room

Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families and your team

Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences

Supporting children's development, wellbeing and individual learning needs

Maintaining a high standard of health, safety and compliance

Mentoring and supporting educators to grow their skills and confidence

Working collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to ensure consistent, high-quality practices

Creating an setting that reflects the interests, strengths and needs of the children in your care

About You We are looking for someone who is:

Diploma-qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care

Experienced in a Room Leader or senior educator position

Passionate about working with children aged 2-3 years

Confident leading and mentoring a team

Warm, nurturing and committed to building meaningful relationships

Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education

Committed to continuous improvement and creating positive outcomes for children
