Site View Security is a privately owned Australian company specialising in innovative, solar-powered security and surveillance solutions.

We work across construction, commercial, civil and government sectors, combining CCTV, intrusion detection, remote monitoring and smart technology to deliver reliable security solutions for our customers.

As we continue to grow our Queensland operation, we're looking for a Security Technician / Installer to join our team.

About the Role This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.

You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and preparation of Site View's standalone solar-powered security systems, working both independently and alongside our team.

You’ll travel to customer sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich, working with modern CCTV, intrusion detection, communications and remote monitoring technology.

Your day-to-day will include:

Installing and commissioning Site View security systems

Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipmentPreparing and manufacturing equipment for deployment

Diagnosing technical issues in the field

Working with CCTV, alarms and associated technology

Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts

Ensuring installations are completed safely, neatly and to a high standard

Working autonomously while remaining part of a supportive national team

About You We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude first.

Previous CCTV,



security or technical experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to someone with solid practical skills who is eager to learn.

You’ll ideally have:

A current Queensland Driver Licence

Current White Card

Queensland Security Provider Licence – Class 2 (Security Equipment Installer)

Blue Card / Working with Children clearance

EWP licence up to 11m – preferred but not essential

CCTV and/or alarm experience – preferred but not essential

Confidence using hand and power tools

Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors

Strong attention to detail

Good problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A proactive, reliable and positive attitude

The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
