About the Company Top Deck Group Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based construction company specialising in commercial formwork and structural construction projects across the Sydney metropolitan area. The company works on a range of large-scale construction projects and is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, safety and reliable project outcomes. Position Available – Formwork Carpenter Top Deck is currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join its team on major commercial construction projects across Sydney.

This is a full-time position suited to candidates with strong experience in commercial formwork, concrete structures and construction site operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

n

n
- Interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
n
- Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and formwork materials
n
- Construct, install and dismantle formwork systems for concrete structures including slabs, walls, columns and beams
n
- Carry out carpentry and formwork works in accordance with project requirements and safety standards
n
- Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
n




- Work with site supervisors and other trades to complete projects within required timeframes
n
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment in accordance with WHS requirements
n

About You For this role, you should have

n

n
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV) or equivalent relevant experience
n
- Demonstrated experience in commercial formwork and concrete structure projects
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, formwork plans and specifications
n
- Experience constructing, installing and dismantling formwork systems for concrete structures
n
- Ability to work safely at heights and within active construction environments
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements on construction sites
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting and meet project deadlines
n

Desirable Skills

n

n
- Experience working on commercial or high-rise construction projects
n
- Experience using proprietary formwork systems (e.g. PERI, Doka or similar systems)
n
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
n
- Valid driver licence and reliable transport
n
