Duty Manager

n

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring our high standards of service are consistently met. You will lead a talented team, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues that arise.

In this role you will:

- Manage and support the Front Office Team ensuring that guest expectations are met.
n
- Manage the hotel operation in the absence of the General Manager.
n
- Lead by example when attending to guest requests.
n




- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive.
n
- Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
n
- Ensure that procedures relating to Front Office are completed in line with agreed standards
n
- Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures including special guests and VIP's.
n
- Assist with check-in and check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to.
n
- Being responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
n

Qualifications and requirements

n

n
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Duty Manager or similar role
n
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service with a positive and professional attitude
n
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and leadership skills
n
- High level of computer literacy –Excel and Opera experience
n
- RSA and First Aid qualifications or be willing to obtain
n
- Be available for a variety of shifts over 7 days availability, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm.
