Empire Holdings is seeking and experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team.

Permanent full time position

38 hours per week

Salary: $79,423 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare, season and cook food in accordance with recipes and established standards.
- Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
- Assist in planning and developing menus.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Train and support apprentices and junior kitchen staff.
- Manage stock ordering, stock rotation and inventory control.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain cost control measures.
- Ensure food is stored correctly in temperature-controlled environments.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.




- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.

Skills and Experience Required

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef.
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable, professional and self-motivated approach to work.
