Pacific Tug Group has a pipeline of vessel refurbishment projects confirmed over the next 12 months, and we're looking for an experienced, hands‐on person to join our team.

We are currently carrying out the strip‐out and refit of a series of 12‐metre vessels. Each vessel goes through a full refurbishment, from initial strip‐out through to refit and recommissioning.

The work includes:

- Removing seats, hatches, windows, flooring, fittings and equipment
n
- Assisting with removal and refitting of engines and drivetrain components
n
- Installing vinyl flooring, trims, hatches, latches, windows and other fittings
n
- General mechanical and marine fit‐out work
n
- Preparing vessels for recommissioning
n
- Keeping the work area organised and protected
n
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
- Is mechanically minded and confident using hand and power tools
n
- Has previous trade,
mechanical, marine, construction, maintenance or fit‐out experience
n
- Can work independently without needing constant supervision
n
- Has good practical problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
n
- Is reliable and happy to get stuck in and work as part of a small team
n
- A trade qualification is welcome, but not essential. We're more interested in practical experience, mechanical aptitude and someone who knows their way around tools and equipment.
n
- Marine experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

This is casual project work with a strong pipeline of vessels scheduled over the next 12 months.
