Leading Hand / Junior Site Manager - Eastern Suburbs - 5 days per week

Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with a highly regarded high-end residential builders, specialising in architecturally designed renovations and additions across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West. You'll be supported in your development by the senior team and molded into a great builder.

Responsibilities

n
- Supervise architectural renovation and addition projects
n
- Complete carpentry work when needed
n
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
n
- Support and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Maintain a tidy and respectful site - especially important when working on occupied properties
n




- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all workers comply with health and safety regulations
n

Requirements

n

n
- At least 3 years' experience out of your carpentry apprenticeship with experience leading a team as a Leading Hand / Foreman
n
- Experience working on high-end residential builds (essential)
n
- Renovation and addition experience preferred
n
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- Eagerness to learn and develop
n
- Strong leadership and team management skills
n
- Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
n
