About the Opportunity

n

An opportunity has arisen for a Mining Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Mining Engineer and operates on a roster of 8 days on, 6 days off.

n

Your focus will be on planning and controlling underground production activities to ensure protected, efficient, and compliant execution of the mine plan.

n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

n

- Planning and designing underground production activities to enable the safe and efficient execution of the mine plan.
n
- Developing, issuing, and maintaining drilling, charging, and blasting designs and associated documentation.
n
- Contributing to production, ground control, and statutory management plans.
n
- Monitoring production performance and completing stope reconciliations against plans and forecasts.
n
- Applying quality control processes to ensure drilling and charging activities meet design and safety standards.
n
- Collaborating closely with underground operations and technical services teams to deliver coordinated production outcomes.

About You

n

Our ideal candidate will have proven post-graduation experience as a Mining Engineer, including exposure to working in underground environments,



and will have completed their underground practical time.

n

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

n

n
- A tertiary qualification in mining engineering.
n
- A sound understanding of underground mining operations, including production and development practices, and associated enabling activities.
n
- Previous experience completing underground design work and issuing plans.
n
- Proficiency in mine design software (Deswik preferred, but not essential).
n
- A current C-class manual driver's licence.

Candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment testing, which may include a medical assessment, respiratory mask fit testing, drug and alcohol screening, national police clearance, working rights verification, reference checks, and qualification / licence checks.
