We're seeking an experienced Baker/Pastry Chef to join our passionate team at Chocolat of Mornington. This full-time position is based in our bakery located in Mornington, VIC 3931. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the preparation and production of our delectable range of baked goods and pastries.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, pies and other baked goods to our high standards
- Laminating doughs
- Ensuring all ingredients are measured and mixed according to recipes
- Operating commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Decorating and finishing baked goods to create visually appealing and delicious products
- Maintaining a clean, organised and sanitary work environment
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Providing exceptional customer service to our in-store customers
- Early morning starts

What we're looking for

- Formal training or qualifications in baking, patisserie or a related culinary field, Cert III Patisserie




- Excellent baking and pastry-making skills with an eye for detail and presentation
- Robust time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Passion for creating high-quality baked goods and a commitment to food safety and hygiene
