What role will you play?n

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in driving software quality by developing and enhancing automated testing solutions, with a robust focus on leveraging AI to solve complex quality challenges. Working closely with development teams, you will help embed quality into the software delivery lifecycle by creating scalable, reusable automation capabilities and supporting teams to automate testing for the features they build. Your expertise in test automation, agentic AI, and stakeholder engagement will help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software across the organisation.

What you offern

- Experience building, maintaining and improving modern TypeScript UI and Java/Gherkin API testing frameworks.
n




- Strong practical experience using agentic AI coding assistants like Claude Code, to automate tasks like test planning, generation and maintenance.
n
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines that enable early, frequent testing without slowing down development cycle time.
n
- Confidence supporting development teams as a quality and automation SME, enforcing shift-left processes and guardrails through activities like test planning, pair programming and PR reviews. As well as building one-click workflows that allow for self-service.
n
- Commitment to upskilling team members at varying levels of experience on AI, quality and automation best practices through activities like presentations, workshops and documentation.
n

Beneficial experiencen n
- Automation testing tools - Karate, Playwright, Applitools, Gatling.
n
- Knowledge of non-functional testing concepts - security, performance.
n
- Experience working in an AWS or GCP ecosystem.
n
- Familiarity with the Australian Strata Management domain.
