Are you an experienced accounting practice professional looking for a role where your skills, initiative and attention to detail are genuinely valued?

Join a well-established and growing accounting practice north of Adelaide and become a key part of the team. Working closely with the Director and supporting a team of accountants and advisers, you'll take ownership of the practice's administration, compliance workflows, client communication and systems.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference, improve processes and help the practice continue to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing ATO lodgements, reminders and compliance workflows

Following up clients regarding signatures, payments and outstanding requirements

Liaising with the ATO on client matters and registrations

Managing client records across XPM, SuiteFiles, BGL and other systems

Processing payments, receipting and debt collection reminders

Managing Xero subscriptions, invoicing and account maintenance

Preparing practice management and compliance reports

Supporting Audit Shield administration and client communications





Coordinating newsletters through Mailchimp and assisting with client onboarding

Improving internal processes, systems and procedures

Providing general practice administration and support

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in an accounting, tax, bookkeeping or professional services firm

Understands accounting practice administration and compliance

Has experience with XPM, Xero and SuiteFiles

Has exposure to ATO Online Services, ATO Portal and RAM

Is highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing competing priorities

Has excellent communication and client service skills

Takes initiative and enjoys finding better ways to do things

BGL and Mailchimp experience will be highly regarded.
