We are currently recruiting an experienced Shift Supervisor for an industry-leading packaging and plastics manufacturing organisation based in Kings Park.

n

About the Role
n Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will lead and manage the production team across your shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.

n

You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the production team, plant and equipment while supporting a positive and productive workplace culture.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead, allocate and supervise production staff across the shift
n
- Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved
n
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and housekeeping
n
- Monitor production processes, machine performance and changeovers
n
- Ensure routine machine, quality, guard and TPM checks are completed
n
- Record and monitor breakdowns and production downtime
n
- Support maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives
n
- Manage materials moving in and out of the production area
n
- Complete production, quality, safety and non-conformance documentation
n
- Participate in daily production and planning meetings
n
- Assist with problem solving, investigations and continuous improvement
n
- Support employee performance, attendance and rostering requirements
n

About You To be successful, you will ideally have:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience within plastics or manufacturing
n
- Previous experience supervising or leading a production team
n
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude
n
- Experience working in a fast-paced production workplace
n
- Excellent communication and people leadership skills
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
n
- A practical, hands‐on approach to production and team management
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
