Brisbane Airport Hotels Group is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Executive, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR skilled to play a key part in driving the success of the Human Resources Department.

About Us:

The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, Executive Lounge and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.

Key responsibilities include:

n

Support the Director of HR to ensure compliance with hotel policies, legislation, and employment regulations.

n

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote a safe, positive, and inclusive workplace.

n

Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and probation reviews for all new employees.

n

Facilitate training programs, apprenticeships, and work placements, ensuring accurate training records are maintained.

n

Coach leaders on award interpretation,



performance reviews, and employee relations matters.

n

Manage workplace injuries, compensation claims, and return-to-work programs.

n

Support reward, recognition, and engagement initiatives across all departments.

n

Conduct exit interviews and assist with performance and disciplinary procedures.

n

To besuccessful in this role:

n

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or working toward).

n

2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR Executive role

n

Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.

n

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

n

A proactive, approachable, and people-focused mindset.
