Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will take ownership of the overall performance of the Gosford store. You will lead from the floor, working alongside your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience while achieving sales and KPI expectations. As this is a new store, you will also have the opportunity to help establish the culture, standards and routines from day one.

Key responsibilities

n

Leading, coaching and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and store targets

n

Driving sales, conversion, average sale and other key retail KPIs

n

Creating a strong sales culture where every customer opportunity counts

n

Leading from the floor and actively supporting the team with customers and closing sales

n

Coaching team members who are below benchmark and recognising those achieving great results

n

Ensuring quotes and customer opportunities are followed up consistently

n

Maintaining high standards of showroom presentation, merchandising and ticketing

n

Managing daily operations and store administration

n

Ensuring company policies, procedures and WHS requirements are followed

n





Conducting regular team huddles, training and performance discussions

n

About you

n

Previous retail management experience, preferably within furniture, bulky goods or a consultative sales setting

n

A proven ability to lead a sales team and achieve targets

n

Strong understanding of retail KPIs and how to turn results into action

n

Confidence coaching, developing and performance-managing team members

n

A hands-on leadership style – you won't manage from behind a desk

n

Strong communication and organisational skills

n

A customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues professionally

n

The ability to create structure, consistency and accountability within a team

n

A positive attitude and the drive to build a successful store from the ground up
