By joining our Graduate Program, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and build your career, supported by a team that's invested in your success.

Your development journey starts with a tailored orientation at our headquarters in Sydney. You'll then embark on a structured 12 to 24-month program that includes on-the-job training, access to senior leaders, and a comprehensive range of internal and external learning opportunities.

Throughout your journey with us, you'll be encouraged to examine problems from every angle, challenge the status quo, and develop creative solutions that help progress our business, all while being supported by an inclusive team.

We have opportunities in:

Accounting

Help support Macquarie's growth by working on financial reporting, forecasting, tax and regulatory reporting, and providing advice to teams across the business.

Corporate finance, M&A;, treasury and markets





Work with teams advising on mergers and acquisitions, supporting the trading of essential commodities, or helping provide funding, capital and advisory services to clients and businesses.

Risk

Help identify, assess and manage risks across the business, contributing to sustainable outcomes and supporting informed decision-making.

Retail banking

Gain real customer-focused experience, helping people purchase a home, start a business or manage their finances.

From designing, building and maintaining our systems to writing code and developing solutions, as an Engineer you could specialise in areas such as architecture, UI design, testing, business analysis or production support.

Business analysis

Help drive positive outcomes at Macquarie by identifying business needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.

Data

Use data, analytics, AI or emerging technologies to help solve business problems and improve processes.

- We welcome applications from students across a broad range of degree backgrounds. Some opportunities, including roles in technology and data, may require a relevant degree or area of study.
- You are in your final year of study or completed your studies in 2025.
- No prior financial services experience is required, just an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident to be eligible for this program.
