Developing Dreams Early Learning Woongarrah is a small, 29 place service operating 8:00am-4:00pm, 50 weeks per year. We have been rated Exceeding twice in the last 5 years and our company is highly awarded.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Involved in supporting a team which provides exceeding early childhood education and care
n
- Have a sound understanding of, and work in accordance with the requirements of the National Quality Framework, including but not limited to, the relevant Law and Regulations
n
- Work in accordance with the Code of Ethics, the services Code of Conduct and Child Safe Code of Conduct
n
- Work to develop a culture of child safety
n
- Implement and uphold the services' philosophy and guiding values of Relationships, Wellbeing and Growth
n
- Supporting the implementation of contemporary, research-based practices at the service
n
- Maintaining and upholding Workplace Health and Safety
n
- Maintaining and upholding privacy and confidentiality




n
- Demonstrating reliability through punctuality, effective communication, emotional maturity and appropriate behaviours
n
- Developing a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
n

About you

n

n
- AQF Certificate III in Children's Services (including working toward) or an equivalent qualification or sufficient knowledge or experience to perform the duties at this level
n
- Child Protection Qualification
n
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training
n
- Explicit Working with Children Check (N/A to under 18 years)
n
- Self-awareness to know when to be independent and when to access support
n
- Initiative and resourcefulness
n
- Emotional regulation, awareness and maturity
n
