About the Job
n
This position will be reporting to the National Sales Manager, and the major duties include but are not limited to the following key focus areas:
n
n
- Achieve sales and margin targets as per a business plan based on budget creation, sales reporting and pricing strategy.
n
- Implement set strategic initiatives designed to enhance the operation and performance of the business for new territories and customer development.
n
- Achievement of operational and logistics objectives and strategies regarding Warehouse performance and KPI's, stock variances and consignments, warranty returns and operational policies and procedures.
n
- Development of close working relationships with key customers across the territory to implement ongoing customer development and retention initiatives with current and new key customers and segments.
n
- Assisting with administrative effectiveness within the territory regarding objectives and KPI's, debtors' control, sales performance and implementation of policies, procedures and processes.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
n
n
- Ability to develop customer relationships
n
- Previous battery experience an advantage but not necessary
n
- Proven sales skills (1-3 years' experience)
n
- Solid desire to improve the business
n
- Forklift Licence or willing to obtain one.
n
- Knowledge and understanding of computers
n
- Exceptional communication skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and time management
n
- Sales coaching to build the capability of team performance
n
- Business development skills, to initiate, drive and open new customers within the sectors
n
- Possess the ability to provide and influence direction to the team
n
n
