- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, food preparation, and community outings.
- Encourage independence, communication, and confidence
- Assist individuals in developing and achieving their goals, promoting independence and self-determination.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support provided and any changes in the individual's needs or preferences.
About You
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Experience supporting young people or individuals with disabilities (required)
- Comfortable providing personal care and overnight support with female clients
- Previous experience administering medication (preferred but not essential)
- Full driver's licence and reliable vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR
- Cert III Individual Support, equivalent or greater
- Ability to work with others and communicate effectively with the family and care team
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle (preferred but not essential)

PLEASE NOTE: Sleepovers and weekends are required in this position. Please do not apply if you are unable to do set sleepovers on a fortnightly rotating roster. All employment is casual with the opportunity to move to part-time. We are based in Singleton but are looking for staff to work in the Maitland area as well!
