JoinagrowingsportsorganisationinWesternAustraliacommittedtoincreasingcommunityparticipationandathletedevelopmentthroughstructuredsportsprograms.Thisroleofferstheopportunitytocoordinateparticipationinitiatives,developathletepathways,workcloselywithschoolsandcommunityorganisations,andcontributetothegrowthofawell-establishedacademy.Youwillplayakeyroleindeliveringinclusivesportsdevelopmentprogramswhilesupportingcommunityengagementandlong-termparticipationstrategies.

The Prospect JoinagrowingsportsorganisationinWesternAustraliacommittedtoincreasingcommunityparticipationandathletedevelopmentthroughstructuredsportsprograms.Thisroleofferstheopportunitytocoordinateparticipationinitiatives,developathletepathways,workcloselywithschoolsandcommunityorganisations,andcontributetothegrowthofawell-establishedacademy.Youwillplayakeyroleindeliveringinclusivesportsdevelopmentprogramswhilesupportingcommunityengagementandlong-termparticipationstrategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop,implementandevaluatesportsparticipationanddevelopmentprograms

Coordinatejunior,youthandadultparticipationinitiatives

Buildandmaintainpartnershipswithschools,communityorganisationsandsportingbodies

Planandcoordinatetrainingcamps,communityclinicsandpromotionalevents

Developstrategiestoencourageinclusiveparticipationacrossdiversecommunities

Coordinateathletedevelopmentpathwaysfrombeginnertoadvancedlevels

Monitorparticipationdataandpreparereportstoevaluateprogramoutcomes

Assistwithfundingapplications,sponsorshipproposalsandcommunitypartnershipinitiatives





Coordinateschedulesfordevelopmentprograms,facilitiesandresources

Workcloselywithcoachesandprogramstafftoensuresuccessfulprogramdelivery

Promoteacademyprogramsthroughcommunityengagementandmarketingactivities

Assistwiththeplanninganddeliveryoftournaments,competitionsandcommunityevents

Ensurecompliancewithorganisationalpolicies,sportingregulationsandworkplacehealthandsafetyrequirements

Maintainpositiverelationshipswithparticipants,parents,schoolsandcommunitystakeholders

Stayuptodatewithcurrenttrendsandbestpracticesinsportsdevelopment

Requirements & Eligibility

BachelorDegreeorhigherqualificationinSportDevelopment,SportsManagement,PhysicalEducation,ExerciseandSportScience,RecreationManagementorarelatedfield

Minimumthreeyearsofrelevantpost-qualificationexperienceinsportsdevelopment,communitysport,programcoordinationorrecreationmanagement

Experiencedevelopingandcoordinatingcommunityparticipationorathletedevelopmentprograms

Strongunderstandingofsportsdevelopmentprinciplesandparticipantpathwayprograms

Experienceworkingwithschools,sportingorganisationsandcommunitystakeholders

Excellentorganisational,communicationandstakeholdermanagementskills

Abilitytomanagemultipleprogramsandprojectswhilemeetingdeadlines

Strongadministration,reportingandprojectmanagementskills

CurrentWorkingwithChildrenCheckorwillingnesstoobtain

CurrentFirstAidCertificateisdesirable
