As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Commercial Property Lawyer (2–6+ years PQE) to join our expanding team.

About the Role Working closely with an experienced partner, you will advise on a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial and retail leasing, property development, and strategic property advisory work.

This role offers significant autonomy, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to manage your own matters from commencement through to completion, with ongoing mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities

Acting on commercial, industrial, and retail property transactions

Drafting, reviewing,



and negotiating contracts of sale and vendor statements

Advising landlords and tenants on commercial and retail leasing matters

Assisting with property development transactions and structuring

Conducting due diligence for property acquisitions and disposals

Advising clients on planning, zoning, and other property-related issues

Managing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the firm

Skills & Experience

Admitted to practise in Victoria

2–6+ years' post-admission experience in commercial property law

Strong experience in commercial leasing and/or property transactions

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Robust attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities

Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team

Well organised, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service
