Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of current and upcoming civil construction projects. As a QA Engineer with Mendi Constructions, you will work closely with our project teams to support the delivery of civil construction projects in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements and company procedures.

The role will involve:

n

Coordinating and maintaining project QA documentation, registers and records

n

Managing inspections, testing, survey requirements and associated quality documentation

n

Preparing and maintaining ITPs, Action Plans, hold points and material approvals

n

Monitoring site activities and works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements

n

Liaising with project teams, clients, testing authorities, surveyors and subcontractors

n

Identifying and reporting quality issues and assisting with their timely resolution

n

Supporting the project team with site engineering, quality assurance and project close-out requirements

n

This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who is comfortable working across both quality assurance and day-to-day civil project delivery.

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a QA Engineer, Site Engineer or similar role within civil construction
n
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
n
- Experience with QA documentation, ITPs, inspections, testing and lot records
n
- A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, drawings and specifications
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- The ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and clients
n

n

Experience working on Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and with construction management systems such as Procore would be highly regarded.
