We currently have:

A 1st Year opportunity for someone ready to start their automotive career.

A 2nd or 3rd Year opportunity for an existing apprentice looking for a new workshop to continue their training.

n

These opportunities provide the chance to gain hands‐on experience in professional automotive environments, learn from qualified technicians and work towards becoming a fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.

You'll complete or continue your AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology while earning a wage and developing valuable practical skills.

What You'll Learn

n

Your responsibilities will depend on your apprenticeship year and current experience, but may include:

n

n
- Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance.
n
- Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
n
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.
n
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs.
n
- Engine and mechanical component repairs.
n
- Removing and replacing worn or damaged components.
n
- Vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.
n
- Reading and following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
n
- Safe and correct use of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
- Maintaining professional workshop and safety standards.
n

n

As your apprenticeship progresses, you'll take on more complex work and greater responsibility while continuing to learn under the supervision of qualified technicians.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates who are genuinely interested in automotive and prepared to put in the effort to build a long‐term career.

You'll ideally have:

- A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry.
n
- A hands‐on, mechanically minded approach.
n
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
- Reliability and punctuality.
n
- Good attention to detail.
n
- The ability to listen, take direction and apply feedback.
n
- The ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team.
n
- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).
n
- The ability to reliably travel to Tuggerah and surrounding areas.
n

n

If you're applying for the 1st Year opportunity, no previous automotive experience is required.

n

A Certificate II or previous hands‐on experience is advantageous but not essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and genuine motivation to become a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.
