This established group operates across local and international markets. Working closely with the CFO, you will improve treasury performance through effective liquidity management, strong banking relationships and opportunities to increase returns within established risk settings.

The role combines daily treasury management with commercial analysis and process improvement. You will have the scope to influence decisions and make a visible contribution to group success.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing daily cash positions and preparing liquidity forecasts.
- Analysing interest income and providing clear recommendations.
- Managing banking relationships, pricing and account structures.
- Driving funding facilities and ensuring timely covenant and lender reporting.
- Monitoring and capitalising on investment performance within approved policies and limits.
- Strengthening treasury controls and simplifying processes.
- Working with finance colleagues to understand fund flows and resolve issues.

You are an experienced treasury skilled who enjoys working directly with the numbers. You can build your own forecasts, investigate cash movements and turn detailed analysis into practical commercial actions. You can demonstrate where your personal contribution has improved returns, strengthened liquidity management or simplified treasury processes.

Your background may include financial services, lending, fintech, mid-tier banking or corporate treasury. What matters is your ability to deliver in a lean environment, own the analysis and work effectively with finance colleagues and banking partners.

Remuneration is circa $180,000 plus superannuation, based in Melbourne’s CBD with three to four days in the office each week.
