Job Description
The Housekeeping Attendant maintains the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of accommodation, public areas and village facilities, supporting an exceptional [guest/resident] experience while meeting company, safety and service standards.

Guest Experience
n
Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, visitors and contractors.
n
Maintain a friendly, professional and approachable manner.
n
Respect guest privacy and confidentiality.
n
Respond courteously to guest requests and report maintenance or service issues promptly.
n
Contribute to a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.
n
Housekeeping Operations
n
Clean guest rooms, bathrooms and kitchenettes to company standards.
n
Change linen and replenish items in amenities.
n
Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitise assigned areas.
n
Clean public areas including Reception, communal facilities, amenities, offices and recreational spaces.
n
Clean and maintain staircases and stairwell areas onsite.
n
Prepare rooms for arriving guests within required timeframes.
n
Coordinate with the Check-In Team to finalise room cleaning and ensure rooms are ready before guest arrival where required.
n
Report damaged items, maintenance issues and lost property.
n
Follow daily room allocations and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
n
Maintain housekeeping storerooms in a clean, organised and well-stocked condition.
n
Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with Safety Data Sheets.
n
Assist with scheduled deep-cleaning projects.
n
Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
n
Work Health and Safety
n
Follow Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
n
Use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
n
Report hazards, incidents and near misses immediately.
n
Use safe manual-handling techniques.
n
Use and store chemicals safely.
n
Participate in workplace safety meetings and training.
n
Teamwork and Property Standards
n
Work cooperatively with Property Manager, Reception, Maintenance, and other departments.
n
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and participate in team meetings and training.
n
Undertake additional duties as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.
n
Ensure accommodation meets Aspen Living presentation standards.
n
Coordinate with the Check-In Team to finalise room and ensure rooms are ready before guest arrival where required.
n
Identify opportunities to improve cleanliness and efficiency.
n
Help maintain safe, clean and attractive property at all times.
n
Qualifications
n
No formal qualifications are required.
n
Current driver's licence is desirable.
n
Experience and Capabilities
n
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is required; hotel, resort, FIFO village or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable. Bond cleaning experience is not required.
n
Robust attention to detail and time-management skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet daily deadlines.
n
Physically fit and able to undertake the manual requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying cleaning equipment, supplies and rubbish.
n
Comfortable travelling between the 6 onsite buildings, including regularly using staircases throughout the day.
n
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and does not mind getting dirty when completing heavier cleaning tasks.
n
Reliable, punctual and well-presented approach.
n
Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
n
Willingness to learn and follow company cleaning procedures and standards.

Working Conditions
n
Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and varying shifts as required, depending on the workload and onsite cleaning requirements.
