Traffic Management - NSW Operations Manager

OCC is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operations Manager to lead our Sydney (Seven Hills) operations and play a key role in the continued growth of our business. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader with strong operational, people management and client relationship skills to lead a high performing team. You will drive operational excellence, safety compliance, workforce management and exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

THE ROLE

n

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Sydney traffic management business, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Leadand manageoperational teams, supervisors, planners and field employees.
n
- Ensureall traffic management activities comply with TfNSW requirements, WHS legislation and company standards.
n
- Managelabour resources, fleet utilisation and project scheduling.
n
- Developand maintainstrong relationships with clients, contractors andstakeholders.
n
- Monitorproject performance, productivity and profitability.
n
- Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives across operations, safety and service delivery.
n
- Supporting business development and identifying opportunities for growth.
n
- Managing workforce planning, recruitment,



training and employee performance.
n
- Ensuring a strong safety culture is embedded throughout the organisation.

ABOUT YOU

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

n

n
- Proven experience in a Traffic Management Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Area Manager or similar leadership role.
n
- Strong understanding of traffic management operations within NSW.
n
- Demonstrated experience managing large operational teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
n
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
n
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices.
n
- Current Drivers Licence.
n

Highly Regarded

- Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans qualifications.
n
- Experience working with civil infrastructure, utilities, construction or government clients.
n
- Knowledge of TfNSW traffic management requirements.
n
- Relevant qualifications in business, management, civil construction or workplace safety.
