On behalf of our valued client, we are currently seeking suitably experienced applications to fill the role of Underground Bogger Operator. This position is on a 7 and 7 rotating roster, between dayshift and nightshift. Located in Victoria, whilst working 12-hour shifts.

About the role:
n
Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, the Bogger operator is responsible for:
n
n
- Bogging of development headings production stopes
n
- Loading stockpiles to trucks
n
- Keep trucks operating at full efficiency
n
- Bog out and clean faces
n
- Inspect for misfires, promptly notify the Shift Supervisor, and perform hosing down and scaling as required
n
- Remote Bogging from open stopes using Tele-Remotes
n
- Tram material from stockpiles
n
- Keep all roads in working area tidy and free from pooling water and other potential hazards
n
- Manual and Tele-Remote bogging of production stopes to stockpiles
n
n
About You:
n
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
n
n
- Experience with underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, scaling, bogging of development headings and production stopes
n
- Initiative and a flexible approach to work
n
- A willingness to build a protected and productive work culture with a high focus on quality and the ability to work autonomously
n
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills
n
- Ability to operate Sandvik/Cat loaders
n
- Experience in production charging
n
- Current Vic Shot firing / Black ticket (advantageous)
n
n
With above award hourly rates of between $80.00 - $90.00 p/h (neg. depending on engagement status and experience), this is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leader in the Gold Mining sector.
