About the role Join a major Queensland government transformation programme as a Learning Specialist and help deliver impactful learning solutions for a large-scale enterprise content management project. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to shape learning outcomes across a complex ICT environment, with a strong focus on instructional design, digital learning and stakeholder capability uplift.

Key Responsibilities

Design engaging learning content, curricula, course outlines, lesson plans and storyboards.

Develop interactive e-learning, learning resources, knowledge checks and gamification activities.

Deliver training sessions, practice labs and drop-in sessions for diverse stakeholder groups.

Evaluate learner progress, feedback and performance metrics to identify skills gaps and improve learning outcomes.

Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders to support business readiness and a smooth transition to recent systems.

Highly desirable criteria

Bring 7+ years’ experience in a similar Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer role.





Apply strong instructional design models, adult learning principles and curriculum development practices.

Demonstrate hands‑on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and SharePoint Online.

Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to support digital learning.

Create polished learning assets with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools.

Desirable criteria

Hold tertiary qualifications in instructional design, education, change management or a related discipline.

Show experience within an ICT programme or project environment.

Apply accessibility principles across learning content and delivery.

Bring previous experience within a regulatory or government environment.
