Our client, an established Australian metal manufacturing business is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator and Welder to join its production team in Sunshine. This position has a solid focus on CNC laser cutting and CNC brake press operation, supported by welding and general fabrication duties.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machinery

Set up and operate CNC brake press machinery

Select programs, tooling and machine settings according to job requirements





Read technical drawings and check completed components against required tolerances

Complete MIG welding, second class welding, fabrication, grinding and finishing duties

Monitor production, identify faults and complete basic machine inspections and adjustments

Skills and Experience

Practical CNC laser cutting experience

CNC brake press or metal forming experience

Experience within metal manufacturing, engineering or fabrication

Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing specifications

Australian driver’s licence, reliable transport and valid Australian work rights
