Blue Chip Termite & Pest Control is a family-owned business, operating from commercial premises in Geebung.

n

We are looking for an administrative assistant to support the business manager and our team of technicians. Our technicians are on the road every day, and the office is what keeps them running.

n

To be suitable for this position, you need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

n

The role

n

You will assist the business manager in the day to day running of the office: answering phone and website enquiries, quoting jobs, booking our technicians in, raising invoices, and keeping our job records straight.

Day to day you will

n

Answer the phone, live chat, and email enquiries

n

Call past customers to schedule routine services

n

Follow up quotes

n

Raise and send invoices

n

Proofread termite reports and treatment certificates

n

Communicate with technicians in the field

n

Keep client records, job notes, and paperwork up to date

n

About you

n

Previous experience in an administration, reception, or office coordination role

n





Excellent organisation, scheduling, and time management skills

n

Must feel confident and enjoy talking on the phone as this is a big part of the job

n

Good with computers: Word, Excel, Gmail, and quick to pick up recent software.

n

Experience with ServiceM8 and Formitize is an advantage, but not essential

n

Accurate with numbers and detail

n

Able to juggle a ringing phone, a technician needing an address, and an email that needs answering

n

Experience in a trade, construction or service-based business is an advantage, but not essential

n

What we offer

n

Full time salary ranging from $59,280 to $65,000 depending on experience

n

Guaranteed 38 hours per week with an early finish on Friday: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday; 8am to 12pm Friday

Office within a 2 minute walk of Sunshine train station (Geebung) & street parking available
