Lead one of Melbourne’s most iconic riverside venuesAustralian Venue Co. is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead Anglers Tavern, an iconic Melbourne pub set against the picturesque Maribyrnong River.Following an extensive transformation, Anglers Tavern offers something for everyone—from classic pub dining and family-friendly spaces to a buzzing sports bar, expansive beer garden, functions and late-night entertainment.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a large, multi-faceted venue with a robust local following and significant commercial potential.The opportunityAs Venue Manager, you’ll have full ownership of the venue’s people, performance and guest experience.You’ll lead an established team, drive the commercial direction of the business and continue building Anglers Tavern’s reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading hospitality destinations.You’ll be responsible for:Leading, coaching and developing the venue management and front-of-house teamsTaking ownership of the venue’s P&L;, labour, stock, budgets and overall performanceDriving revenue across the bistro, sports bar, functions and entertainmentBuilding a strong, accountable and high-performing team cultureMaintaining exceptional standards across service, food, beverage,
