Our client, a high performing retail business, is seeking a senior property lawyer to join its Legal team.

Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the role of Senior Legal Counsel will involve managing and providing legal support for the organisation's property portfolio including drafting and negotiating leases and related documents; participating in M&A; activity including due diligence with a focus on property and leasing implications; and providing advice on all property matters. In addition, you will be responsible for drafting,



reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements; supporting strategic projects and initiatives; advising on privacy matters; and compliance work.

Candidates offering ideally 5+ years' quality experience in commercial leasing is essential to be successful in the role.

Essential attributes are commercial acumen, the ability to interact with others in a way that builds credibility and engenders trust and confidence, an eager and positive attitude, a collaborative approach, and solid communication skills.

A hybrid working model is on offer.
