Duty Manager

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting frontline hospitality teams across the venue

Managing shifts and ensuring high service standards are maintained

Monitoring venue operations and customer satisfaction

Cash handling, banking,



safe reconciliation and till balancing

Managing incidents and customer concerns professionally

Supporting staff training, coaching and development

Ensuring compliance with RSA, RSG, AML/CTF and venue procedures

Maintaining workplace health and safety standards

Working collaboratively with Department Managers and Supervisors

Supporting positive team culture through leadership and role modelling

Acting as Chief Fire Warden and First Aid Attendant when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring: Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality leadership or venue operations

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong leadership and people management capability

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

Sound understanding of licensing and gaming legislation

Experience managing cash handling and venue reconciliations

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Flexible availability across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays

Essential Requirements

Current RSA Certificate

Current RSG Certificate

Current RMLV Certificate

Current Queensland Approved Manager Licence

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Mental Health First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
