RN - Lismore - Child & Adolescent Mental Health

Our client, Lismore Base Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team in Lismore, NSW. This is a contract position running for approximately 14 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of 21 December 2026. You'll be working in a regional mental health setting, supporting young people through their care journey in a supportive clinical environment.

- Specialised child and adolescent mental health nursing in a regional hospital setting
- Contract role, approximately 14 weeks, starting ASAP through to 21 December 2026
- Based in Lismore, NSW, in the heart of the Northern Rivers region

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




- Robust experience in child and adolescent mental health nursing
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people in a mental health context
- Current Violence Prevention and Management (VPM) competency or willingness to obtain it
- Sound clinical judgment and the ability to respond sensitively to the needs of adolescent patients

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in child and adolescent mental health
- Current or recent Violence Prevention and Management certification
