The successful candidate will work as part of our kitchen team, preparing and cooking high-quality Italian food while maintaining TÁVOLA’s standards of consistency, presentation, food safety and service. Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Examining ingredients and food products to ensure quality and freshness Organising mise en place and managing an allocated kitchen section during service Operating and regulating ovens, grills and other commercial cooking equipment Portioning, plating and garnishing dishes consistently Preparing dishes for guests with allergies or special dietary requirements Maintaining correct food storage,



stock rotation and temperature‑control procedures Complying with all food‑safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Assisting with menu planning and estimating food requirements Monitoring portions, stock levels and food waste Supporting and training junior kitchen staff when required Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams Requirements

A relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent professional experience At least one year of relevant experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations Experience with Italian cuisine is highly regarded Strong attention to quality, presentation and consistency Good organisational, communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced restaurant workplace Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
