Here's how an Estimating Student for our Solar Australia office in North Sydney contributes to our team:

- Understanding and utilizing PCL's estimating manuals, systems and forms
n
- Reviewing quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Construction Risk Manager.
n
- Performing assigned quantity survey
n
- Giving quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
n
- Transferring quantities to lead estimator
n
- Bid document control
n




- Performing bid day assignments
n
- Visiting job sites periodically
n
- Developing relationships with subcontractors
n
- Other duties as assigned by theConstruction Risk Manager
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
n
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
