Job Description

The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication and installation of a range of structural and architectural metalwork. The role will include working from drawings and measurements through to fabrication, welding and finishing.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Fabricating and welding structural and architectural steelwork
n
- MIG and TIG welding as required
n
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and plans
n
- Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling metal components
n
- Preparing materials and components for fabrication
n
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
n
- Maintaining a clean, protected and organised workshop
n
- Working both independently and within a team
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n

About you

- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator / Welder
n
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
n




- The ability to read and understand technical drawings
n
- Good measuring and problem-solving skills
n
- High attention to detail
n
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A commitment to producing quality workmanship
n
- A positive and professional attitude
n
- Trade qualifications and relevant experience will be highly regarded
